Participant 1
Initial description: I made the grid 19x19. The single blue dot closest to the corner had to be placed in the corresponding spots around the rest of the area. the green dots had to form a dotted line around the edge but lined up with the blue dots. the single red dot had to be placed in the same spot with matching red dots in corresponding quadrants. The same had to be done with the single yellow dot. The light blue dots had to be a dashed line that lined up with the yellow dots.

Participant 2
Initial description: Created an output similar to Example 1
Final description: To create similar to the given example
Participant 3
Initial description: This one was not too hard to figure out. You get to see part of the pattern then you just continue it.

Participant 4
Initial description: Used both example 1 and example 2 and combined them
Final description: I could not really figure this one out
Participant 5
Initial description: using the task demonstrations
Final description: ok
Participant 6
Initial description: The 2 same colored squares outside of a corner piece was the outline for a square and the singular solo color was to be mirrored along the edges.
Final description: I accidentally had one corner piece green isntead of blue.
Participant 7
Initial description: copt the test input into each corner of the grid, then make a alternating border using the corner colors
Final description: rotate and copy the test input pattern into each corner, make boxes using the color from each corner
Participant 8
Initial description: I noticed that the dots mirrored each other, but the dots closest to the edge of the grid always made a "closed" square. I tried to mimic that behavior here.
Final description: I noticed the dots mirrored each other and if a certain color dot was shown on either side or a "corner" dot, then the pattern was repeated across to close the square.
Participant 9
Initial description: copy the pattern on a large scale
Final description: copy the pattern on a large scale
