Participant 1
Initial description: I am not sure of the rule. I don't see a pattern.
Final description: I am not sure,I think to change half of the colored boxes to gray.
Participant 2
Initial description: Create a pattern with middle inputs being red while other blue inputs being gray.
Final description: Create a pattern with middle sections being red, while outer blue sections turning gray.
Participant 3
Initial description: Create a checkboard pattern by alternating between the two colors in each row.
Final description: Create a checkerboard pattern by alternating between the two colors
Participant 4
Initial description: I shouldve surrounded the black with red
Final description: Boxes surrounding black boxes should be red
Participant 5
Initial description: The light blue square changes color based on neighboring black squares. It turns grey if there are 0 or 1 black squares and red if there are more than 2 black squares.
Final description: I could not figure it out. I thought it had to do with how many black squares were neighboring the light blue squares.
Participant 6
Initial description: This one was hard - something to do with alternating changing the blue squares between red and black.
Final description: This one was really hard to see the pattern - something related to blue squares becoming either gray or black depending on the size of the blue clusters in the test inputs.
Participant 7
Initial description: I don't know the rule yet I'm just guessing right now
Final description: If a blue square is surrounded by more blue squares than black squares, it turns gray. If a blue square is surrounded by equal to or less black squares than blue, it turns red.
Participant 8
Initial description: I saw all the blue boxes become red
Final description: I saw all the blue boxes become red but I was confused about the grey
